Emissions 🌱

Throughout the emissions calculation process, we obtain two results, which correspond to different moments in the chain. These results are:

• Tank to wheel: corresponds to emissions produced when transforming fuel into energy (e.g., burning gasoline in a delivery van).
• Well to wheel: corresponds to all fuel emissions including production, distribution and conversion on the move.

When a shipment is created, the emissions are calculated asynchronously and two cases can occur:

• It has been possible to correctly calculate the emissions emitted, in this case the value is attached.
• The emissions could not be calculated, in this case an error message is attached.

In case the calculation fails, the configuration should be reviewed to add or modify what is necessary and once this is done, the emissions could be recalculated with the following endpoint: Recaulculate emissions
